My flower gardens this week are in between blooms so-to-speak. Next week should bring a whole new round --red peonies, columbines, regular irises, and maybe even lupines. But this week the flowers are few. Enjoy the pretty pink sweet almond flowers, the nodding anemones, the lavender and chartreuse mini-irises, and the old-fashioned lilacs. I can smell the lilacs right now---mmmmmm. One of my very favorite flowering trees.
