This past weekend, we spent some time at the park.... watching the ducks and geese...
...watching us...
...watching us...
....letting the cares of the week roll off our backs.... like glistening drops of water.
It was refreshing. And we all need some refreshing now and again.
This pair were pretty fearless.... I think they thought we owed them something for letting us get so close to them.
I just missed the goose biting (nibbling) on his fingers! He jumped.... and then laughed.
A beautiful male wood duck. Aren't they brilliant?
Ubiquitous mallards....but beautiful just the same.
And lots and lots of Canada geese.... and lots and lots of fertilizer.

Holy cow - to say that I LOVE the shot of water off the duck's back...you'd never know I steer clear of most fowl! Gorgeous! But the one of your son reaching down to the goose made me just a bit queasy. (But that's my issue.)

Apparently, I'm not the only one who thinks that your second photograph is amazing. If I had walls in my house I would ask to order a print of it. It is very intriguing. Beautiful!

Wendy .... these are FABULOUS!!! Ducks, geese, water foul of any kind always soothe me. They are such peaceful and graceful creatures. I absolutely LOVE the second shot! FABULOUS!
Today the sun is SHINING!!! I am just getting ready to head out for my morning Nordic walk ... though there is a brisk wind, I at least will not have to content with the assailing, pelting rains! :)) Wishing you a day alight with sparkles!!

Oh what a treat these photos are! It is snowing/freezing rain here today... :(
And yes, the one of the water on the goose's back is SO beautiful! I also love the one of them looking right at you at eye level... I sincerely hope you had something to kneel/lay on!
