Let me introduce you to my favorite salad. She has no name that I know of other than "My Favorite Salad".....
....so I have decided to call her "Almota Roses Salad".
After eating this salad, I find all other salads rather bland.....
...I guess that's why she is my favorite.
So without further ado, here is her magic recipe.....
Almota Roses Salad
1 head romaine rinsed and chopped
1/2 c. Craisins (plain dried cranberries would work just as well)
1/2 c nuts (I like pecans or walnuts)
1/4 c Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
Balsamic vinaigrette
All of these ingredients could be adjusted to taste.
(Sometimes I splurge on a little more cheese!)
Arrange lettuce on 2 plates, sprinkle the Craisins, nuts, and cheese over the lettuce
(divide between the two plates)
((ooops! a little more cheese for me!))
Drizzle the Balsamic vinaigrette to taste.
Grab a fork and enjoy!
*****Please note: over the next week or so, I am going to be a tiny bit busy, so blogging may be a bit hit and miss....... I hope you understand*****I hope you have a WOnDerFul WeeKenD!
