Newborn Sweetness X Two {Pullman, Colfax, Palouse Newborn Twin Photographer}

almotaroses_newborn_photographer5
My first set of twins to photograph..... they made me work.... but I enjoyed every minute of it.

I remember back to when Reid first came home.... one big baby and one overwhelmed momma..
.... I really don't know how I would have managed two!
But this Momma was doing such a great job with her wee ones.... aren't they beautiful together?

A very talented friend of mine helped with the styling and mechanics of the shoot
(thanks Sue!)

I love the light in this first photo.... streaming in the front door... lighting the baby girl's wondering face.
I learned something new about preemies (these twins were almost 2 months early)...
...babies born premature do not like to curl up.... something to do with not developing flexure tone in the womb.... so these two liked their legs all stretched out.

Sweet and tiny details.... the perfect pair.
I hope you enjoyed these two.... I know I sure did... sweetness multiplied.

Sweet Newborn {Pullman, Colfax, Palouse Newborn Photographer}

Here are a few photos from my latest newborn mini-shoot.  This shoot actually took place in the hospital, right before baby went home.  There are large windows that allow for plenty of natural light and the flooring looks like wood -- very unlike any flooring I've ever seen in a hospital.  I'm hoping that I will get the chance to do this again... and again.  Thank you!

Do you ever wonder....
what it would be like to remember your birth?
To take your first breath of air and open your eyes to blinding light?
I wonder...

 Baby Brooke was so awake and alert.... taking it all in.
What a sweet newborn and wonderful family!
You can see all of her photos {here}, or by clicking on the "Gallery" tab in my menu bar and clicking on "Newborns and Babies".

Sweet Newborn {Palouse area newborn, baby photographer}

Sweet baby girl...

 I had the great opportunity of photographing another newborn a couple of weeks ago.
I'm loving learning the art of newborn photography.
I also did a bit more playing with textures and script this time....

 Mom and babe...such contentment....such flawless, gorgeous skin...

....awwww....

Mom and Dad were so wonderful to work with...so patient with me

 ...Lucky capture...

 ...love...

 ...bright eyed and bare toed....

... a collaboration of creative minds helped me with this shoot... thank you...

You can see more of their photos {here}

I need a baby........

...... to photograph!
Gotcha!
(Did you think I meant something else?  hehe)

I decided to bop into a consignment store....
and low and behold this tiny buggy reached out and tapped me on the shoulder and said,
"Take me home.  I need a baby to hold."
And so after careful scrutiny to assure me that indeed this old lady could indeed safely hold a baby again,
I paid her bail.

Honestly, I didn't need much convincing....

This is totally my thing..... antique, sturdy, but well-loved...

Now... all I need is a newborn to snuggle inside while I capture sweet dreams of yore.
Do you know of one?
Please {contact me}.....  pretty please?

Tomorrow... or the next day.... I promise to answer some of the questions you have asked in my comments section.
Pinky swear.

Baby Boy J -- {Palouse Area Newborn Photographer}

Here are a few photos from my very first newborn shoot. Baby J is such a sweet, sweet baby and his parents are a beautiful couple. They all were so patient with me as I tried this and that to make this first baby shoot the best I could without prior in depth experience.
(Oh how I wish I could turn back the clock to when my babes were newborns
...poor babes, they would have never had a moment's rest!)
Feel free to give Baby J some love....
....and if you live in the Palouse area, I am looking for some more newborns to photograph!
